Using file sizes in searches
Search for files by total size, data fork size only, or resource fork size only. Sizes can be specified in bytes, kilobytes, or megabytes to fine tune the results of the search.

Searches that use only the data fork or only the resource fork size are more efficient than searches based on total file size (total file size = data fork size + resource fork size). For most searches based on file size, basing the search on the data fork size is just as effective as using the total file size, but can have slightly better performance.
